How to buy
How buying from us works, step by step
Nothing here is a surprise later. If any of it does not match what you are being told in the conversation, say so. Draft copy.
You tell us what you need
Machine type, how you will use it, your destination port, and your budget range. Budget is not a rude question — it is the fastest way to stop us showing you units you do not want.
We send you what is actually available
Specification, photographs of real units, and what the range looks like. If we do not have the answer, we say so and go and get it from the yard rather than guessing at it.
Video call from the yard
Before any money moves, we get on a call with somebody standing in front of the unit. You direct the camera. Ask for this from every exporter you are talking to — the reaction tells you a lot.
Proforma Invoice
Written confirmation: unit, specification, terms, incoterm, payment terms and bank account. The account name matches our registered name. Check it against the About page before you transfer anything.
Deposit, 50%
Preparation starts immediately — refurbishment and export prep in the yard. You get the progress step by step, so you know where your machine is while your money is with us.
Balance, then loading
Photographs and video of the actual unit before it is loaded, then the export documents you need to clear it on arrival.
Shipping, and we stay reachable
The relationship does not end at the port. If something is wrong on arrival, you are still talking to the same team.
Check the bank account name before you transfer
The account named on your Proforma Invoice matches our registered company name. We will never ask you to pay a personal account. If an exporter — us or anyone else — asks you to send money to an individual's account, stop. Our registered details are on the About page →
FOB or CIF — decide this early
It changes what you are comparing. Two quotations on different incoterms are not comparable numbers, and that is where most confusion in this trade starts. Draft copy.
FOB
You buy the machine, we get it to the ship. You arrange the sea freight and the insurance.
Cheaper on paper and more work for you. It makes sense if you already have a forwarder you trust.
CIF
We arrange the freight and the insurance through to your port. One number, less for you to manage.
Simpler, and the right answer for most first orders.
Ask for both and compare
You can use your own forwarder or ours, whichever gives you the better rate. It is entirely your choice, and sometimes yours is cheaper. We would rather you check than assume. How freight is actually priced →
