Most sites answer this question with a table they copied. This is the actual list, checked against what the site does.
What is stored right now
| What | Where | Set by | What it is for | Needs consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
scheme |
Local storage | Us | Remembers whether you chose light or dark | No |
| Security and delivery cookies | Cookie | Cloudflare | Serving the site and blocking abuse | No |
| Turnstile | Cookie | Cloudflare | Checking the contact form is not a robot | No |
| Your consent choice | Local storage | Us | So we stop asking once you have answered | No |
None of these follow you anywhere. None of them are advertising.
The colour-scheme setting does not need your consent and we are not going to ask for it: it exists only because you clicked the switcher, it stays in your browser, and it never reaches us. Storage you asked for by using a control is exempt.
What will be stored once we advertise
We are not running ads yet. When we do, the list gains this:
| What | Where | Set by | What it is for | Needs consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_fbp, _fbc |
Cookie | Meta | Measuring which ads lead to an enquiry | Yes |
Nothing in that row will be set before you agree to it, if you are in the EEA or the UK. That includes the measurement we send from our own server rather than from your browser: if you decline, no event is sent at all. Server-side is not a way around asking.
How to change your mind
If you were shown a choice, you can change it — the control is below this section, and it re-opens the banner. A consent you cannot withdraw is not consent.
Outside the EEA and the UK we do not show a banner, because there is nothing in the list above that needs one. If that changes, this page changes first.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your own browser at any time — that removes everything above, including the colour-scheme setting.
